We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis. and examination. , The results of the analysis, -which are se forth In a ssparate report show that this Spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but' races of solid matter .in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and piild taste. Mr Haet's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its clasa, ia well purified, and is quite genuine. It has a pure fragrant odour, and 1b absolutely free from any trace of f ui il or other injurious impurity, and has evidently bean distilled from superior rye gr^in, oiways Basel instead of malt in the production of tho choicest .qaalitii sof Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compart a favourably with other samples offered for aale. It may be advised as equally* suitable for medical or economic purposes.
