H akt. We have subjected a earnpl? of the- abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results cf the cnalysie, which are cc forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but races of solid matter in solution. Jt possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and & purs and mild taste. Bir,— l have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to mp has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the re«i.t of which enables me to stata that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fusil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently beea distilled from superior rye gmin, olways used instead of malt in the production of tho choicest qualitif s of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the pakte, and in thin espect com-: par^ b favourably with other samples offered, lor aale.
