The Ch'afles Edward arrived from West Coast ports at 2p m. yesterday. She sails for Wellington direct at four o'clock this afternoon. y~ The Lyttelton sailed, for. Blenheim at 9 a.m. yesterday i and arrived there at 9 a m. to-day. Siie leaves for Wellington direct this evening. The Kennedy leaves Greymouth for Westport and Sfelson to morrow morning. Sbe reports only 6 feet 6 inches of water on the Greymouth bar this morning The Dido left Wellington on Saturday afternoon for Hokianga, there to load with timber for the former .port. She leaves on the return trip tbis afternoon, will . arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Wanganui at 6 p.m. The Dauntless sailed yesterday morning on a cruise with a party of gentlemen, who, ifc is understood, will visit Pelorus and Queen Charlotte's Sounds. The Murray arrived in harbor at 5 a.m. yesterday,- having left Wellington nt 430 p.m. on Saturday Fresh N.W winds were * experienced across the Straits.
