Passengers: Miss Warburtou . Mrs and Miss Myers, Mrs Pollock and 2 steerage.
. The Murray leaves for Wellington direct at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The Charles Edward is still detained at Greymouth by a shallow bar. The Patea sailed for Pate* direct at six o'clock last night. The departure of the Wakatu for Wan ganui has been postponed until- 4 p.m. on Saturday. This is rendered necessary, as the improvements which are now being effected-' cannot be completed before that time. The owners of the Star of the South are endeavoring to open a trade between Wanganui and the West Coast, and that steamer now proceeds from Wellington to Wanganui, thence direct to the West Coast. The Waitaki lefe New Plymouth at 10 o'clock this morning, will here to-night, and , sail for Picton and Wellington at 1 p.m. tomorrow. The Wellington leaves "Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manuka u by the same tide at 3 p.ra/ The Maori leaves Eyttelcon this afternoon, Will arrive here to-morrow night, and sail for West Coußt the Sounds, and DiiDedin at noon on Saturday. The Rotomahana will be the next steamer for Melbourne. She leaves Wellington on Monday'^and passengers for her will be fortrarded by the Waitaki to-morrow. The Albion sailed for Melbourne via West Coast ports and Newcastle at I*3o p.m. to* day. While here her bunkers were replenished with coal, 180 tons having been obtained from the hulk Hera.
