Bluff, Monday.; . The Union Company's new steamer Te Anau, Captain Carey, arrived here this morning at 2 o'clock. She left Melbourne at 3 p.m. on the 10th inst., and cleared the Heads at 5.40 p.m., arrived at Hobart Town at 10.15 a.m. on the 12th, left at 430 p.m., and arrived off the Solanders at 6.30 p.m. Slowed the engines till arrival. She experienced thick foggy weather the whole distance, which necessitated slowing the engines on several occasions. On Saturday she experienced a strong southerly breeze with heavy sea, in which she behaved admirably, proving herself to be a splendid sea boat.
