Report on a Sample of Irrporial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Uart. We have subjected a eampl? of the above- . named article to a very c&rofnl chemical : analysis and ezfumnaiion. The results of the analysis, which ara se .' forth in a separate report show that this j spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but' races • of solid mstter in solution. Jt possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and ■ mild taste. Mr East's Schiedam fichnappc is a very superior ferrieie of its class, ia weil purified, snd is quite genuine. It is very, smooth to the palate, and in this respect com-, par. s favourably with other samples offered for aale. It may bs advised as equally* suitable for medical or economic purposes.
