London, February 10. The steamer Chimborazo was obliged to return to Plymouth in consequence of encountering unusually severe weather. She shipped one sea, which washed six lifeboats overboard, drowning Mr Boyer a first-class passeDger, and Mr Kelling and Mr J. K. Jones second class passengers ; and severely injuring Mr J Alexander and Mr Donald first class and Messrs Joseph Phillips, J. T. Wrightley, and Alfred Tugwell second class passengers. The Aconcagua arrived at Plymouth yesterday. The wool market is firm. The new arrivals for next auction are 190,000 bales. Eroui further details it has been found that three more of the crew of the Chimborazo were drowned in addition tojthose already reported. The hull and engines are uninjured, and the vessel will be ready for sea shortly. February 11. After considerable debating in the House of Commons, Mr Redmond's amendment on the address, censuring the Government for neglect with regard to the distress iv Ireland was negatived by 216 against 66.
