The Charles Edward sailed for West Coast ports at 11 o'clock last night. The Murray arrived at Wellington this -morning. She leaves there this evening, "■will arrive here to-morrow, and sail for' Wanganui and Opunake at 7 p.m. The Kenn 1 dy leaves Greymouth for Westport and Nelson to-day She is announced to sail for Wellington tc-morrow at 8 p.m. The Awaroa sailed for Wangasijai yesterday afternoon with a general cargo. The Waitaki leaves Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow morning,, and proceed to the outer anchorage at 11.30 a.m., where she will remain until 5 p.m., when she sails for Taranaki and Manukau. The departure of the Lyttelton for Blenheim has been postponed till 2 p.m. on Saturday. • The Taiaroa, with the San Francisco mail, arrived here last night, and sailed for Picton and Wellington at half -past seven this morning.. The Albion left Melbourne for Nelson via West Coast ports on Tuesday last. She should reach Hokitika on Sunday. The Argus arrived from Fern Town last night, with 60 tons. of coal for Mr Burford. The Grafton has proceeded from Wellington to the the West Coast direct. She calls here on the way up. arriving about Sunday. The Wakatu has been placed on the gridiron near the Commercial Wharf for the purpose of being cleaned and painted. While there she will be fitted with a new propellor, the present one being far too small for the power of the engines.
