We have subjected s sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination, . . x The results of the analysis, which ars se forth in a separate report, show tbas this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, end that it contains but' races of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr East's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, ia well purifisdj, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Abtotr. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of f iml or other injurious impurity, and bss -evidently been dißtilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, atd in tlri> respect cornpar* s favourably with other samples offered for tale. It may be advised as equally^ suitable for medical or economic purposes.
