[Press Association.] Blenheim, Friday. Tweufcy*three Blenheim operators have refused to work on the new system, and are , determined to resist the extension of hours and abolition of overtime. A deputation waited on the officer in charge aud requested the payment of their salaries up to the 31st December which was refused. The operators , allege they will take legal proceedings. They sa5 r that they are willing" to work the usual hours with overtime allowances as hitherto.
