The Airlie still lies in the stream awaiting bands. "Five seamen fur the run to Newcastle are advertised for by the npents, to Whom they are to apply to-morrow morning. The ketch Argus and schooner Australian Maid are hourly expected from Collingwood with cargoes of coul The former vessel has on board 62 tons for Mr Burford. The Aconcagua will bo the next of the Orient Line of steamers for London, leaving Melbourne on January 3. The Claud Hamilton leaves Melbourne on an excursion trip to New Zealand to-day. She calls at Preservation Inlet and Dusky and Milford Sounds, leaving there on the 29tb and reaching Nelson about January Ist, Tia Hokitika and Greymouth. The Wakatu arrived from Wanganui at 2-15 p.m. to-day, having left there late last night. She sails for Wanganui and Wellington at 10 a m. to-morrow. The Waitaki, with the- San Francisco mail, left New Plymouth at six o'clock this morning, will arrive here to-night, and sail for Picton acd Wellington by the same tide at 10 p.m. The Wellington, with tbe inward Suez mail, arrived at Wellington at 9 a.m. today. She leaves there at four o'clock this afterBoon, will arrive here tomorrow morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau by the same tide at one o'clock midday, and not at six o'clock in the evening, as erroneously stated iv a paragraph in this morning's Colonist.
