Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr If. J. Hart. We have subjected a sampl % of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis; ara se forth In a separate report show tbat this spirit is of gcod strength, practically free from ar-idity, and thnt it contains bnt races of solid co utter ia -solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and -j. pure end mild taste, Mr Haqt'3 Schiedam i.ehnapp. is a very superior ariicie of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. Bir,— l have the honor jto report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has\>een submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, tbe result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice, It has a pure fragrant odour, and ls absolutely free from any trace of fu--il or other injuriou* impurity, and bas evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used iastead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It ie very smooth to the palate, and in thit respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for .ale. It may be advised as equallyj suitable for medical or economic purposes.
