The Lyttelton left Wellington for Blenheim at midnight yesterday. The Wallace sailed for Wanganui this afternoon, and is expected back on Thursday morning-. The Kennedy leaves Greymouth this afternoon and Westport to morrow afternoon, arriving here on Thursday morning. The Wakatu left Welfington for Wanganui last night, and will probably arrive here to-morrow morning. The Arawata arrived at the Bluff yesterday morning. She will reach Wellington on Friday, and sail for East Coast ports the same day. The topsail schooner signalled yesterday afternoon proved to be the Dido from Oamaru with a cargo of flour for Mr R. Levien. She came into harbor this morning. The Wellington arrived here this afternoon, having left Wellington at 4 p.m. yesterday, and Picton early this morning. She Bailed for Picton, Wellington, and South by the same tide. The Taiaroa arrived at Onehunga this morning. The mail steamer leaves there at 3 p.m. The Ringarooma leaves Melbourne for New Zealand to da}', if the P. and 0. mail steamer has arrived there. The Canny Scot was towed to sea bv the Murray yesterday afternoon, and set sail for Newcastle. Favored by a light land breeze Bbe made good progress, and by dusk had secured a good offing. The placing of the Wakatu on the Wanganui trade has necessitated the withdrawal of the Awaroa, which has been engaged running between here and Wanganui ever since she was launched, as the trade is not sufficiently brisk to keep both steamer and sailing vessel going. Accordingly the schooner has been compelled to seek a freight elsewhere, and yesterday afternoon she sailed for Waitapu, where she loads with timber for Lyttelton. The Murray arrived here from West Coast ports at 4.30 p.m. yesterday. She left Nelsou ou Sunday, the 30th u!t., at 11 a.m., having on board a number of immigrants by the Opawa for Greymouth aud Hokitika, and arrived at Westport at 9 a.m. on Monday ; left for Hokitika at i 2 p.m., arriving there at 10.30 on Tuesday morning; sailed for Greymoutb at 11.30 on Wednesday morning, entering the Grey at 230 p.m. same day; was bar bound till Saturday afternoon, when Bhe sailed for Westport at 2 30, entering the Buller at 4 o'clock on Sunday morning; sailed at 3 p.m., and arrived here as above, haviDg experienced a heavy sea and strong head winds on the passage up. The Murray sails for West Coast ports at 8 o'clock ou Thursday morniLg.
