EXPECTED ARR IVALS.
Steamer Wellington, from Taranaki and Manukau, to-morrow Steamer Taiaroa, from Picton, Wellington, and Sontb, to-morrow Steamer Murray, from West Coast, Dec. 6 Schooner Awaroa, from Wanganui
Captain Edwin reports:— "Bad weather approaching; any direction between north and east and north and west. Glass will ■how farther fail ; indication bad." The Patea Bails for Patea at six o'clock tonight. The Wakatu sails for Wanganui and Wellington at 6 o'clo. k this evening. The Kennedy sailed for West Coast ports at 2.30 p.m. to-day. The Lyttelton sails for Blenheim at midnight to night. Tbe Wallace sails for Wellington on Saturday at 6 p.m. The Murray is a prisoner at Greymouth, a heavy sea breaking on the bar. The Lady Barkly arrived from Golden Bay this morning. The Maori arrived at Lyttelton at 3 p.m. yesterday. Tbe steamer Grafton has been chartered to run wool between the East Coast ports and Wellington. Tbe Cland Hamilton sailed for Melbourne via West Coast ports and Newcastle at 10 30 p.m. yesterday. Tbe brigantine Isabella sailed for Greymonth tbis morning. She loads there with coal for Wellington. The Wellington left New Plymouth at noon to-day, will arrive here early to-morrow morning, and sail for Picton and Wellington at 11 a.m. The Taiaroa leaves Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The schooner Helen and Jane was totally wrecked at Mussle Bay, Southland, abont a fortnight ago. She was bound from Riverton to Melbourne with a cargo of 4000 bushels of oats. After being a week at sea a strong westerly wind sprang np, and the captain ran back to Mussle Bay, where tbe Teasel lay for three days, when the wind changing to tbe east she tried to beat out, but missing stays, went ashore. The crew bad bat time to save themselves, and shortly after they got on shore nothing was to be aeen of the wreck. The Bchooner was partly insured.
