The Lady Barkly returned from Golden -Bay last night. The Kennedy sailed for Westport yesterday afternoon. The Lyttelton arrived from Blenheim last "night. She returns there on Monday evening The Wallace sailed for Wanganui last evening, and is expected back on Sunday morning. J The Mnrray was to leave Greymouth early tbis morning, and Bhould leave Westport this afternoon, arriving here tomorrow ■afternoon. > 9 expected to arrive here from Wellington and South on Sunday, and is advertised to sail for Westport and Greymouth on Monday. The Arawata leaves the Bloff for Melbourne to morrow afternoon. The Croydon Lass left Lyttelton for Nelson yesterday with a load of raits for the Foxhill— Bell Grove railway. The steamer Hankow arrived atMelbourne from London on Koveoiber 8, after a passage of 44 days. She stopped nowhere, and •teamed 11,648 miles, at the rate of- over 11 . knots an hour. The Wakata arrived in harbor at 8 30 •jnr today, having left Wellington on Wednesday, and Wacganni yesterday. Whiie at the former port she was visited by a large number x>f peop'e, who were unanimous in . their praise of this latest addition xo Nelson's fleet of steamers. The Wakatu sails for Wangaoui to-morrow. The Waitaki arrived in harbor at n 30 a.m. to-day. She left Dunedin on Monday afternoon, and reached Lyttelton on Tuesday aorning; sailed iu the afternoon, and arrived at Wellington at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesdayleft at 3 p.m. yesterday, called at Picton, and arrived, here as above. After landing and •nipping a large batch of cargo, the Waitaki •ailed for Taranaki and Manukau' by the r tame tide at 2.30 p.m.
