IMPERIAL SCHIEDAiySCHN&PPi, Db. Hassalls Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, E C. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a S&mpls of Inpi-rial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are Be forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practicsliy free from acidity, and that it contnins but traces of solid matter ia solution. Jt possess a delicate and agreeable aroma, and ti pure an<l mild taste. Mr Haet's Schiedam ichnapps ia a very superior article of its class, ia ws!! purified, and is quite genuine. Sir,— l have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state ihat it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pare fragrant odour, snd 1b absolutely free from any trace of fui-il or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been dißtilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thii respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for «ale.
