It is a singular fact tbat not one of the Imperial Napoleons has died in France or on French soil. Napoleon I , the founder of tbe family, died a prisoner on the British Island of Saint Helena, in tbe South Atlantic Ocean; bis son. Napoleon ll , died in Austria, his nephew, Napoleon 111., died an exile in Kneland, and now his grand-nephew, the young man whom the French Imperialists bad hoped would one day rule France as Napoleon IV., has met his fate at the point of Zuln spears, in South Africa. A very extraordinary fact is just now the talk of one of our West End hotels, says a London correspondent. A lady who has lately arrived from Australia, had a dream •bout six weeks ago that her half-Bister, who waa still in tbe colonies, had been accidentally killed. The dream impressed itself upon her so strongly that she made a note of it at the time. A day or two since she received the sad intelligence that the lady in question had been accidentally killed by being thrown from a carriage, and on consulting her diary found that, allowing for the differenceof longitude between London and the colony, her sister had been ki led about the time of dream. The itory is not fiction. The facts can be vouched for. It reveals a very Btrange coincidence, if nothing more. A singular for; the recovery of 30,000 francs has been brought against a priest in the neighborhood of Madrid by tbe heir of a connoisseur whom he had attended in his last moments. The plaintifl alleges that the defendant refused to absolve the dying man until he had burned two valuable paintings by Rubens, aa be objected to {them from • moral point of view, and tbat this act of of Vandalism bad injured tbe estate to tbe extent mentioned. The Court has not yet given its judgment in tbe case.
