IMPERIAL SGHIEDAMMHNAPPI. Dr. Habsall s Report. The Analytical acd Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, E C. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of lirperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr tl. J. Hart. We have subjected a sampl-? of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution, lt possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam fcchnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Eassall, M.D., Author of " Food and its Adulteration." Sir,— -1 have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwaMed by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fueil or other injuriou* impurity, and has evidently been distilled from Buperior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in tbe production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compart a favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally* suitable for medical or economic purposes.
