Captain R. A, Edwin reports: —" Watch barometer; bad weather approaching; any direction between north-east and north and west. Glass will show farther fall; and bad indications. The Kennedy left Weatport for Nelson this morning. The Murray's departure for West Coast ports is postponed till to-morrow evening. The Wallace, owing to bad weather, will sail for Wellington at 2 p.m. to-morrow, instead of this afternoon. The Lady Barkly arrived from Golden Bay on Saturday night, having as passengers three or four gentleman interested in hematite. The Arawata, with the Suez mail, arrived at the Bluff at 6-40 p.m. yesterday. She will reach here on Saturday morning. The Wellington leaves Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and South at 5 p.m. The Waitaki arrived at Wellington yesterday morning, and left there iv the afternoon for Taranaki and Manukau. The mail steamer leaves Auckland for Honolulu tomorrow afternoon.
