To the Editor of the " Evening Mail.'j Sir,— lt is currently reported in the tity that Councillor Hurley has stated that he would give fjve pounds to find out who is " Veritas." On the coudjiiun lh.it he will hand over the money into your custody, and make au appointment— provided, Sir, that you will kiudly consent to hold the money for the benefit of whom it imy concern I will guarantee at that interview, with the free consent of " Veritas," to introduce Councillor Harley to that gentleman.
