The Patea will probably arrive here from Patea to-morrow. The Lady Barkly returned from Golden Bay last night. She leaves here on an excursion trip to Clora Bay to-night. The Maori bas arrived at Westport, having been unable to enter Greymouth. She returns to that port aa soon as the state of tbe bar improves. The Kennedy and Lyttelton are at Greymouth, and the Murray at Westport, all detained by heavy weather. The Taiaroa leaves Wellington on Monday afternoon, will arrive here on Tuesday morning, and sail for Picton and Wellington at noon. The Claud Hamilton sailed for Wellington last night, and arrived there this morning. She leaves there to-morrow morning, will arrive here in the evening, and sail for Newcastle and Melbourne via West Coast ports at 11 a.m. on Monday. The Rotomahana, on her passage from Melbourne to Port Chalmers, experienced atong head winds with heavy sea, so that she did not accomplish the trip in the time that she was expected to do it. The Wellington arrived in harbor at 9 a.ni. to-day. She left Dunedin at 4 p.m. on October Ist, and arrived at Lyttelton at 9 a.m. on the 2nd, after a passage of 17 hours; sailed at 4 p.m. same day, and reached Wellington at 930 a.m. yesterday; left at 6 p.m.. and arrived at Picton at 11 p.m., nailed shortly after midnight, and arrived here as above. Thick weather was experienced throughout the passage. While at Dunedin the Wellingtonunderwent a thorough overhaul, and was cleaned and painted from track to keel. Her internal fittings were also painted and varnished and the steamer now looks as clean as a new pin. The engines were also overhauled, and are now in Bplendid fettle. The figurehead of the steamer, a facsimile of the Duke of Wellington, has beeo painted afresh, which has given it quite a pretty appearance. The Welliogtoa sailed for Taranaki and Manuat noon.
