Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. £Jart. We have subjected a aampi- of the abovenamed article t? b very carelal chemical analysis and e_rai_ii_-..tlo*ti The results of tba analysis, wliich ara se forth in a scp_.r_.te report show tbr.t this spirit is of good sfrength, practically free from acidity, and th;:t it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and u puro and mild teste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior ar'.icie ci its c'aas, ia well purified, and is quite genuine. Sir,— l have the honor to report for your information that tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state tbat it is the Fineat Sample of Schnapps that as yct come under my notico. It baa a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fot-il or otber injurious impurity, and bas evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in tbe production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compart a favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally* suitable for medical or economic purposes.
