The resalts of tho analysis, which are ac forth In a cepaiate report show that this spirit is of good etreagth, practically free from acidity, end that it contains but traces of aolid m-itter in eeiution. Sir,— l have the honor to report for your information that tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the reeult of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that aB yet come onder my notice. ' It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of funl or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grnin, olways used instead of malt in tbe production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for aale. It may be advised as equally} suitable for medical or economic purposes.
