IMPERIAL SCBIEDAJUCBNAPPI, Dr. Hagballs Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, EC. London, 9tu May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected & Bamplf of the abovenamed article to & very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this Bpirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, end that it contains but traces of solid meiter in solution. It posstseee a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taßte. Mr Hart's Schiedam bchnappe is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Sir,— l have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to mo has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to etate that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fiml or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for aale. It may be advised as equally} suitable for medical or economic purposes.
