Absolute Security from Loss. — If from any reason, a policy-ho'der ia unable to continue hia payments, he can, after having made three annual payments, sell his policy back to the Department for one generally greater than the amount he has paid, free of future premiums ; or if he does not desire to sell out, the Department will give him credit for the premiums in an ear for nearly half as long again as he has paid, charging interest at the rate of 6 per cent per annum only on the amount overdue, or the Department grant loans for 90 per cent, of surrender value at 7 per cent, interest.
