Absolute Security from Loss. — If from any reason, a policy-holder is unable to continue his paj ments, he can, after having made three annual payments, sell his policy back to the Department ior one generally greater than the .mount he has paid, free of future premiums ; or if he does not desire to sell out, the Department will give him credit for the premiums in anear for nearly half as long again as he has paid, charging interest at the rate of 6 per cent, per annum only on the amount overdue, or the Department grant loans for 90 per cent, of surrender value at 7 per cent, interest.
