The Union Steam Ship Company have received a favorable notice from one of the Sydney papers. After alluding to the Company itself the paper goes on to say : -" The Company's vessels have gained a special came for safety and comfort with the travelling public, aud their steamers are always prtronised by the passengers to and from New Zealand, especially the Wakatipu, a magnificent steamer of 1796 tons, with a horse power of 1250. To those who are not acquainted with the Union Company's fine fleet it may not be amiss to say that the Wakatipu, although a really splendid •teamer, fitted up with every luxury, her 8 tee rage being far superior to many saloons of coasting steamers, is only one of a fleet of eighteen steamers, all superbly finished, of immense strength and horse-power."
