Imperial Schiedam Bchnappa received from Mr li. J. Hart. We have subjected b simple of the abovenamed article to a very cureiol chemical analysis and examination. The results of the snaiysis, which are so forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, end that it contains but tracea ; of solid matter in solution. Jt poss^es a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taete. Mr Habt's Sciiitdam Schnapps le a very superior article of its class, is vrdl purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur E. Bir, — I have the honor ;to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to mo has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis- and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnappß that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of funi or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for aale. It may be advised as equally^ suitable for medical or economic purposes.
