The Wallace arrived at Wanganui at 8 o'clock thiß morning, and leaves again for Nelson this evening. Tbe Kennedy left for Westport at 8 o'clock last evening, and may be expected there this afternoon. At Greymouth a gang of men are employed to-day in attempting to cut a channel ■o aa to enable shipping to move. An enquiry into the cause of the wreck of the schooner Richard and Mary is now being held at Wanganui. The Wellington left Wellington at 2 o'clock this afternoon, will arrive here tomorrow morning, and sail {or Taranaki and Manukau at 5 p.m.
