London, July 29. The estimated quantity of wheat afloat today for Great Britain is 1,430,000 quarters. Catherine Webster (for the Richmond Border) was banged to-day. The European Telegraph Conference has terminated. Word rates will be introduced throughout Europe and proper names will be disallowed as code words, and in figures groups of three figures will be allowed instead of five. The alterations are to commence in April next. Major Caragnari and the leading Afghan Generals are to be appointed Knights of the Bath.
