The Ocean Bird sailed for Wanganui last night with a cargo of coal. The Lady Barkly returned from Golden Bay thin afternoon. The Robin Hood is ready for sea, and will sail for Newcastle to-night. The Claud Hamilton was to leave Melbourne for Hokitika yesterday. She will arrive here about August 6. The Awaroa sailed for Wanganui last sight with a full cargo, consisting principally of coal ex Robin Hood. The Patea is expected to arrive here tomorrow, and will sail for Patea the same day. The last of the boats for the Wakatu arrived by the Modest Boy from Bark Bay last night The Kennedy arrived from Westport at noon to-day, after a good run of 18 hours. She leaves again for the same port at eight o'clock to-night. The Wallace left for Wanganui to-day. She is expected back on Saturday and leaves for Wellington on Monday. The Lyttelton leaves Blenheim for Wellington this evening. There is as yet no improvement in the West Coast bars bo that the Murray and Charles Edward are still prisoners. The Wellington leaves Wellington to-mor-row afternoon, will arrive here on Saturday morning, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau at 5 p.m same day. The Taiaroa, with the San Francisco mail, arrived at the outer anchorage at 2 a»m. today, and came into harbor aft 5 a.m. She sailed for Picton and Wellington precisely at seven o'clock, much to the disappointment of two or three passengers, who did not expect that she would leave until aome few minutes after her appointed time. The Taiaroa should reach Wellington about 9 o'clock, and it is probable that she will be aent on lo Lyttelton with the mails shortly afterwards.
