July 11, cutter Maid of ;italy, 15, Clarke, for Riwaka. — cutter Ware, 10, Ricketts, for Torrent Bay. 12, steamer Claud Hamilton, 529, Irwic, for Melbourne via West Coast. IXPECTED AKRJVALB. Steamer Charles Edward, from West Coast, to-morrow Steamer Wanganui, from Wellington and Sooth, to-morrow Steamer Wellington, from Picton and Wellington, July 15 Barque Vindex, from Newcastle. The Clio was ballasted to-day, and will probably sail for Greyraouth to-night. The Wallace arrived from Wanganui at eight o'clock this morning. The Kennedy leaves for Wellington direct to-morrow afternoon at two o'clock. The Charles Edward leaves Westport this evening, aud may be expected to arrive here to-morrow afternoon. She returns to West Coast ports on Tuesday morning. The Murray remains at Greymouth till Tuesday morning, when she leaves with the West Coast portion of the 'Frisco mail. The Wanganui leaves Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow morning and sail for Westport and Grey month on Monday. The Taiaroa arrived in harbor at 11 o'clock this morning, having left Wellington at 4.30 p.m. yesterday, and Picton at 2 a.m. to-day. She sailed for Taranaki and Manukau by the same tide at 3 p.m. The Wellington leaves Wellington on Monday afternoon, will arrive here on Tuesday morning, and sail for Picton and Wellington at 2 p.m. same day. After filling her bunkers full of coal, the Cland Hamilton sailed for Newcastle and . Melbourne this afternoon. A vessel has recently arrived at Adelaide •fter a voyage of unusual duration. The Emma, a ship of 714 tons, sailed from Handiksval in the Baltic on August 28, 1878, bnt during the passage of the North Sea she had a very severe handling, and on reaching down the Channel was found too leaky to proceed, so she put into Falmouth The cargo was discharged and the vessel drydocked for repair. The refit having been completed, her cargo of deals and battens was again stowed, and another start was made on February 12. The remainder of the passage was of ordinary character.
