Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnappß received from Mr 11. J. Hart. We have subjected a sampl? of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, end that it contiins but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Bart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its clas3, is weal purified, and is quits genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Bir,— l have the honor ;to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fui-il or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gmin, olwayg used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualitif sof Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compar< s favourably with other samples offered for sale.
