I The Grafton sailed for West Coast ports last night. - ' The Lady Barkly returned from Golden Bay last night. • The Patea is expected to arrive here from Patea to-morrow, and sail for the same pore II awing the day. v The Sarah and Mary finished discharging cargo this morning, and commenced ballasting in the af terr oon . The Wellington leaves Wellington ft 4 ,-pun. to-day, will arrive here to-morfow morning, and sail for TaraoakiandMauukan 'by the tame tide at 10 a.m. The Taiaroa, with the San Francisco mail, left Onehuoga at 6 20 p.m. oq Wednesday, And arrived off New Plymouth yesterday ' morning. Notwithstanding that there was a heavy swell on, she managed to communicate with the shore, and after landing mails, . .passengers, &c, she proceeded on to Nelson ahortly) after noon. Immediately after getting into the Straits strong bead winds .were experienced. The. Taiaroa jumped . about terribly, and at times the Qcoka waia fall of water. This kind of weather lasted until the placid waters of Blind Bay were . raacMd early tbf« morning, and the steamer made fast along the wharf at 7 o'clock. Shp, sailed for Picton and Wellington by the same tide at 8 o'clock.
