Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the above- 1 narn^ article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth In a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of s^lid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and jnlld; taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps Is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. It has a' pare fragrant odotsffi and -la. absolutely frw from any trace of fusil of other injuriqui imparity, and, has. evidently bean distilled from superior ryf;graiay;olway« us^d, initead of malt in the prodoctioH of the" choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compar< s favourably with other samples offered for lale. It may be advised as equally* suitable for medical or economic purposes.
