The Murray sailed for West Coast ports this afternoon. The Hannah Barrett is loading at Waitapu with timber for Wellington. The Dart brings a cargo of hematite ore from Para Para for the Hematite Company. Tbe Lyttelton arrived at Wanganni yesterday morning, ard left for Nelson this afternoon. She is announced for Blenheim to-morrow. The Wanganui sailed for Wellington and South last night, and arrived at the former port this morning. The Wellington leaves Onebnnga tomorrow, and will arrive here on Thuraday night. The Taiaroa arrived in harbor at 10 am. to-day, having left Picton late last night. After discharging a large cargo— some 65 tons— ss tons of which are for the West Coast, having been transhipped from the Ringarooma at Wellington, she sailed for Picton and Wellington by the same tide at 1 p.m. At Liverpool recently the captain of the ship William Sprott was fined £100 for neglecting to report to the Customs a derelict vessel which he saw in the Atlantic Ocean, and which he went alongside of and appropriated some of tbe rigging. The latest Scotsman to band announces the reduction of the wages of seamen sailing out of the Clyde to £2 10s per month. For the Baltic trade £3 are offered.
