IMPERIAL SCHIEDABUCHNAPPS. Dr. Hassall's Rbp6et. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viaduct, B C. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sampta of Imperial Schiedam Schnappa received from Mr U. J. Hart. We have subjected a samplo of the abovenamed ' article :to a very careiul chemical analysis and examination. The results of tbe analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, snd that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's Schiedam Schnappa is a; very superior article of . ita class, ia well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) akthue H. HAsaAti., M.D., Author of " Food and its: Adulteration." Otto Hbhher, F.O.8 n Public Analyst. Wh. Johnson's Rbfoet. Government Analytical Laboratory, Melbourr'J, 28rd July, 1877. Hbwbi J. Baht, Esq. Blt',— l have the honor jto report for your information that tbe sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to be has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the rea'alt of which enables me to state that it is the . Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come tinder my notice. : ' It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fo«il or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways taed instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in thi» respect compare favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally? suitable for medical or economic purposes. I have the honour to be, fyc, (Signed) : W*.. Johnsom, Analytical Chemist to the Government of Victoria. This Pure Medical Spirt, Superior to any in the Market, and Lower in Price, is offered to the Public under the full conviction that it wilr supersede all others now in use. ! ▲ TBlAt.
