COMMERCIAL.
Mr J. R. Mabin reports that on Thursday May 29, he held a sale of the furniture and effects of the late John Thornton. The attendance was good, competition brisk, and satisfactory prices were realised. Yesterday he held a sale of horses at Richmond, but tbe attendance was small, and only a few of them were disposed at prices less than they were worth. To-day he disposed of 102 sheep ex Wallace from Wanganui. at 14s each.
