The cutter Lena arrived at Wellington from Port Underwood the other day with one of the largest hauls of fish made this / ; season, some 40 dozen cray fish, 500 bundles flounder, barracouta, schnappcr, and butter . . fish. j The barque Chaudiere is now 90 days out from London. As steamers from Australia lately report having experienced strong head winds on the passage down we may assume v/ that the barque has met with tbe same sort of weather. If so, she cannot be expected to arrive before the middle of next week. ,-_ The Lady Barkly will make an excursion ■, ; siou trip to Motueka on Monday next, leavhere at 8 a.m. and there on the return trip at 9 p.m. As it is some time since there was an excursion trip to that place the little steamer will no doubt be largely patronised.
