The Murray sailed for Wanganui and Opunake at 2 p.m. to-day. The Lyttelton leaves for Elenheim at five o'clock to-night. The Lady Barkly leaves for Waitapu direct at 7 a.m. to-morrow. The Arthur Wakefield sailed for Motueka to-day. She loads there for Wanganui. The Wellington leaves Onehuuga tomorrow, arriving here on Thursday night. Tbe Croydon Lass arrived at Wellngton on Saturday afternoon with a cargo of wheat -from Timaru. The Awaroa is loading with coal alongside the barque Natal Queen, and leaves for Wanganui to-morrow. The Albion arrived at the Bluff yesterday. She leaves Wellington on the return trip on Friday. r The schooner Clyde has been floated off the Ninety-mile Beach and taken to Lyttelton. The Wallace sailed for Wellington at six o'clock last night, and arrived there this xrorning. She leaves on the return trip tomorrow afternoon. The Kennedy leaves Hokitika for Greymouth this afternoon. The bar at the former port is reported to be indifferent. There is plenty *pf water, but the channel is very narrow. The Taiaroa arrived in harbor at 11.30 am. to-day. She left Wellington at 6 p.m. yesterday, and arrived at Picton at 11 p.m.; sailed at 1 a.m. to-day, and arrived here as above. . The Taiaroa sailed for Picton and Wellington by the same tide at 2 p.m. The latest Scotsman to hand reports the ship-building trade to be in a dull state on the Clyde, Messrs John Elder and Co. having finished the largest job on hand there for some time past, namely, six steel corvettes, which they contracted for to supply the Admiralty. They have, however, just received an order to build a steel steamer of 3650 tons for Mr Donald Curries South African mail lice. Another steamer of 3700 tons for the same line, to be built of steel and iron, has been ordered, and will be built by Messrs Barclay, Curie and Co.
