The Wallace sails for Wellington direct at six o'clock to-night. The Kenuedy left Westport for Greymouth at midnight on Saturday. The Welliogton arrived at Onehunga yesterday morning. The Taiaroa leaves Wellington at six o'clock to-night, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Picton and Wellington by the same tide at 2 p.m. The Awaroa and Arthur Wakefleld arrived from Wanganui yesterday morning, after rather long passages, baffling winds having been experienced the whole of the way across. The former brings a cargo of Bheep. The Tasso is laid up at Newcastle undergoing repairs. Part of her copper has been stripped to discover a leak which she sprung during her last passage from this port. Freights are reported to be in a dull state at Newcastle. A large number of vessels are lying there waiting for something to turn up. * The Murray arrived from West Coast ports at 12 o'clock last night. She left Nelson at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.^the 6th instant, and arrived at Westport at 7.30 a.m. next day; sailed for Hokitika at 10 p.m., arriving there at_B a.m. on Thursday; left at noon on Friday for Greymouth, arriving there at 2 30 p.m. same day; sailed at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived at Westport at 10.30 p.m.; left at midnight, and arrived here as above. The Murray sails for Wanganui and Opnnake at noon to-morrow. The Lyttelton arrived in harbor at 1.30 p.m. yesterday. She left Wellington on Friday night, and reached Blenheim next morning; shipped a number of sheep, and sailed for Nelson in the afternoon, crossing the bar at 9-30 p.m., and arriving here as above. S.E. winds with heavy sea were experienced during Saturday night. The LyUeltcm rcturoo to Blenheim at 6 p m tomorrow. The Natal Queen, a handsome little barque of 230 tonß register, hailing from Hobarton, arrived here yesterday morning from Newcastle, and was towed into harbor by the Lady Barkly shortly afterwards, and berthed alongside the Commercial Wharf. Captain Phillips reports leavipg Newcastle on the 27th ultimo, end had light N.E. winds for the first four days ; thence a succession of •winds varying from E. to E.N.E. were experienced. Cape Farewell was sighted at 10 a.m. on Friday, after which light southerly winds were met with, and continued until arrival here as above. The Natal Queen brings a cargo of 365 tons of coal for Mr J. S. Cross, jun., and commenced discharging this morning.
