Bepott on a Sample oi Imperial Schiedam Schnappa received from Mr H. J. Haht. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed: article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that this spirit ia of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in. solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroroa, and a pura and mild taste. Mr Habt's Schiedam Gchnapps is a very superior article of its class, ia well purified, and ig quite genuine. Sir,— l have the honor .to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you tojme haa been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is', the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come nnder 'my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fusil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye groin, olways used instead of malt in the production of 'the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and ia thitiespt&t compart s favourably with other samples offered for dale.
