IMPERIAL Dk. Hasball's Rbport. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution. 54, Holbora Viaduct, EC. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam. Schnapps received from Mr fl. J. Hart. We have subjected a samplr of the abovenamed article to a very carefal chemical analysis and examination. The results; of the analysis, which are ac forth in a separate report show that thiai spirit is of good strength, practically free; from acidity, and that it; contains but traces of aolid matter in. solution. It possesses a; delicate and agreeable aroma* and a pure and j mild taste. Mr Habt's Schiedam Schnapps; w a very superior article of. its class, n well, purified, and is quite genuine, (Signed) A bthur H. Hassam., M.D., Author of " Food and its Adulteration." Bast, Esq. Sir, — I have the honor .to report for youti information that the sample oi Imperial/ Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to mehas been submitted to a searching chemicaV /analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the, Einest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come, under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of foti! or other injurious imparity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in the production, of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very; : smooth to the palate, and in thif respect com-? i pan s favourably, with other samples offered t for aale. It may be advised as equally* suit-j able for medical or economic purposes. i I have the honour to be, #c., i (Sigred) Wh. Johnson, t ■, | Analytical Chemist to the Government of j Victoria. This Pure Medical: Spirt. Superior to any in the Market, and Lower in Price, is offered to the Public under the full conviction that itj will supersede all others now in use, A TRIAL IS EAHNEBTLY BOMCITEB. N.
