The Pelorus sailed for Haviock last evening. The Awaroa, bound for Wanganui; was towed to sea last evening. The Lady Barkly leaves for Golden Bay at 6 p.m. to-day. Tbe Kennedy leaves Greymouth to-day for Westport. The Lyttelton leaves Blenheim for Wellington to day. The Murray arrived at Wanganui this morning, and leaves again this afternoon. The schoouer Colleen Bawn changed hands at Wanganui the other day for £210. The Omeo is expected to arrive at Wellington on Wednesday next. She comes under charter to the Union Company, and is to be placed on the trade between Sydney and New Zealand. We understand tbat Captain Calder has charge of her. The Wellington arrived in harbor this morning at 6.30. She left Wellington at 1 p.m yesterday, and experienced a fresh S.E. wind in the Straits, arriving at Pieton at 7 p.m.; sailed at 8 pm., and arrived here as above. The Wellington returned to Pieton and Wellington by the same tide at 9.3fia.m. The Oleander commenced ballasting this morning, and took in enough for stiffening purposes. She will finish discharging the remainder of her cargo to-morrow, and sail for Newcastle on Thursday. Tbe Stad Haarlem which arrived at Wellington last Friday is built of iron, straight stemmed, and barque rigged, and the following are her dimensions :-Length, 350---beam, 33ft, and depth of hold, 26ft, giving her a register of 2714 tons. Her passenger accommodation is commodious— elegance and comfort being judiciously combined. Her saloon will be found to be" a most luxurious apartment, fitted for 70 passengers, while some 200 will find most excellent accommodation in the second and third cabins, with an ample supply of all necessary sanitary requirements. Her engines, which are on the compound principle, are by the same firm who built her. The cylinders are inverted, and are SOin and 88in respectively, with a stroke of 4Sin. They are in admirable working, and their effective power is equal to 2700 horse power, and due regard has been had in furnishing them with all the newest improvements in marine" machinery. She draws 18ft Gin aft, but when she dips in the swell the 22ft mark is covered.
