Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr 11. J. Habt. We have subjected a s_mpl? of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which r.re se forth in a separate nport show tbat this spirit is of good Btrength, practically free from acidity, snd that it contains but traces of eolid matter ia solution, lt possesses a delicate and agreeable sroro.., and a pure and mild taste. Bir,— l hava the honor .to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me bas been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notioe. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is absolutely free from any trace of fufil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gr-»in, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It ie very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally? suitable for medical or economic purpeses.
