Report on a £&3>pla of Jc-purial Schiedam Schnapps receix-sd frcm Mr H. J. Hart. We hove subjected a snmpl? of the aborenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are so forth in a separate report show tbat this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, snd thst it contains but traces of solid matter in eolution. it possesses a delicate and Pgreesbla arcms. and a pure and mild taste. Sir,— l have the honor .'to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps tbat as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, Rnd ls absolutely free from any trace of f»ril or other injuriou* impurity, and has evidently been distilled from soperior rye greifi, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to tho palate, and in this tespect cornpan s favourably with other samples offered for sale.
