IMPERIAL SCHIEDAinSCHNiPFS, Db. Harball's Eeport. The Analyticcl and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Vifcduct, E C. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Scruple of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received frcm Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected & sample of ths abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, -which are se forth in a separate report show that this j spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart ' 3 Gchiedam Schnapps ia a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. Babt, Esq. •Sir,— l have the honor ,to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching: chemical analysis and critical examination, the reault of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of futil or other injurioui impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grxin, olways used instead of malt in the production of tho choicest qualities of Schnapps. It ie very smooth to the palate, and in thu respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for Bale. It may be advised as equally} suitable for medical or economic purpises.
