London, April 7. In the House of Commons, the Secretary of State for the Colonies said the sincerity of Cetawayo in making peace proposals whs doubtful. A complex submission alone would satisfy the British Government. Colonel l'earson has made a road shortening the distance to Ekowe by three miles. Parliament has adjourned for the Easter recess. The Board of Trade returns for March show a decrease in imports of £3,343,750, for the month as compared with lost March, and in the exports a decrease of £593,750. April 8. Wheat is sixpence lower. Ali:xaxdr.v, April 8. The Khedive has dismissed Mr Rivers Wilson, the British Finance Minister. He, however, refuses to accept his dismissal. A new Ministry has been formed unler the presidency of Cherif Pasha, composed exclusively of natives. When dismissing Rivers Wilson, the Khedive also dismissed Monsieur Bliginer3, the French Minister for Public Works in Egypt.
