IMPERIAL SCHIEDAMJCHNAPPS, D». Hassalc's Beport. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holbotn Viaduct, EC. London, 9th May, 1877. Beport on a Samplo of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are so forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but tracea of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taate. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps la a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Sir,— J have the honor '.to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any trace of fu&il or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect com* part s favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally| suitable for medical or economic purposes.
