IMPERIAL SCHIEDAMJCHNAPPS, Dr. Hassall's Repoet. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54 Holborn Viaduct, EC. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial .Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr fl. J, Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of tbe analysis, which are se forth in a separate report show that thi_ spirit is of good strength, practically fret from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter ia solution, lt possesses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Sir,— l have the honor ; to report for youi information that tbe sample of Imperia Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to _r.< bas been submitted to a searching chemica analysis and critical examination, the reaul of which enables me to state that it is th< Finest Sample of Schnapps tbat as yet comi under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and Is abso lately free from any trace of futil or otbe: injurious impurity, and bas evidently beei distilled from superior rye grain, olways usei instead of malt in the production of thi choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is verj smooth to the palate, and in thit respect com part 8 favourably with other samples offeree for sale. It may be advised as equally! suit able for medical or economic purposes.
